This article is about the new conditions and dynamics of agricultural labour markets in the province of San Juan taking into consideration the socio-productive transformations that have taken place since the lastdecade of the XXth. century. The forms of labour recruitment, the role of labour intermediaries and temporary workers' annual occupational cycles, are among the main dimensions investigated. The new productive conditions have changed labour markets as a result of the strategies implemented by companies in the sector that made hiring conditions more flexible and, though to a lesser degree, it has also been due to workers' behaviour.
