This article analyzes adoption processes in juvenile courts in Córdoba during the 60’s, reviewing not only who the biological parents of these children were, for which reasons and in which circumstances they were placed for adoption, but also the judicial stories about these experiences. It has a double purpose: to offer a chapter in the adoption history for those that are today looking for their family origins, and to increase our knowledge about the form the interaction between families and State authorities took in these particular contexts.
