POLLASTRI, Laura. The collector's excesses: short-short story, anthology and compilation. Cuad. CILHA [online]. 2010, vol.11, n.2, pp. 30-37. ISSN 1852-9615.
The paper reviews the selection criteria in those short-short story anthologies -micro-story anthologies- produced in Hispanic America, from the earliest ones by René Avilés Fabila and Juan Armando Epple, to the most recent ones by Raúl Brasca and Luis Chitarroni. Moreover, it examines the ways by which specialized journals incorporate texts, belonging to other literary modulations, as short-short stories. Hereto, just as an example, the way the journal Ekuóreo has preceded is being analyzed. Thus, this work tries to outline the reading model rules that govern the selection of microfictions to be published.
