Abstract

MAIZ, Claudio. The red(d)vistas latinoamericanas and the cultural plots: Diffusion Networks in the romanticism and the modernism. Cuad. CILHA [online]. 2011, vol.12, n.1, pp.75-91. ISSN 1852-9615.

The geopolitics of the culture in Spanish America, have brought into play certain places (metropolitan headquarters), some media (magazines, publishing companies) and the networks. It is as well as certain studies have been dedicated to approach the textual production to the headquarters or spaces of production in different moments of the Spanish-American culture. We share the insertion of the intellectual's figure made by Christophe Prochasson in a triad identified with his places ('lieux') of meeting and activity, with his means ('milieux') of expression and communication and with the complex network of relations ('réseaux') that he weaves around it, and not as a prisoner of his speech, isolated of his environment, but to the collective dimension of the intellectual one, the order of his speech surrenders. In this order, three vertexes (places, medias and networks) reached special transcendency as we will be able to estimate in the cases of the modernism and romanticism.

Keywords : Latin-American magazines; Networks of diffusion; Role of the intellectual one.
