PASARDI, Federico; LUCINO, Sergio; BOBONE, Fernando  and  OULTON, Carlos. Liver multifocal fat deposition: Case report. Rev. argent. radiol. [online]. 2009, vol.73, n.1, pp.097-099. ISSN 1852-9992.

To describe the distinctive imaging findings in ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of liver multifocal fat deposition and its importance in the differential diagnosis in patients with neoplasic antecedents. The authors reported a 66 years old female patient, who had surgery for breast cancer two years ago, and presents in routine US multiple liver nodular hiperecogenic images from recent diagnosis. The patient was studied with CT, MRI and histo-pathology confirmed fatty liver disease. Fatty liver disease is a frequent pathology, well characterized with imaging, that presents different patterns, being necessary biopsy for final diagnosis, that in our patient was performed under US guidance.
