Usefulness of imaging techniques in the diagnosis of congenital hepatic fibrosis: A case report. Rev. argent. radiol. [online]. 2013, vol.77, n.2. Congenital hepatic fibrosis is a rare congenital multisystemic disease, included in the group of fibropolicystic diseases, mainly affecting the hepatobiliary system. Its presentation is often unspecific, and its diagnosis becomes challenging. We report the case of a 29-year-old patient evaluated for asymptomatic hepatomegaly, with no apparent relevant medical history. Even if the final diagnosis was made by liver biopsy, imaging findings provided an adequate approach to diagnosis.
