Abstract
TORRICELLA, Andrea; VESPUCCI, Guido and PEREZ, Inés. La familia en Oxford Street: Homosexualidad: matrimonio, filiación y subjetividad. Mora (B. Aires) [online]. 2008, vol.14, n.1, pp.57-71. ISSN 1853-001X.
Public discussions about the civil union law and gay marriage cause different reflections on the main principles that underlie our family way of life. In this article, we review the debate about the homosexual civil rights -marriage, adoption and medical assisted procreation, in summary the pro/familiar claim and its political and social derivations. First, we consider those arguments that seem to represent the state position. Then we discuss the character of the consequences -innovative or normalizing- that homoparental families have from a homosexual perspective. We propose to read it as a way to reach some goals and fool the sentinels of the social order. One question that guides our reflections is in which ways homosexuality breaks the family and social order.
