Resumen

MACON, Cecilia. Los destellos de la pérdida: víctimas resilientes. Mora (B. Aires) [online]. 2016, vol.22, n.1, pp.00-00. ISSN 1853-001X.

The debate held around the idea of "precariousness" associated to the idea of "dispossession" (Butler y Athanasiou, 2013), and its impact on the notion of "agency", unquestionably impose the need to revise certain concepts that have been central to gender theory and practice. It is within this framework that the purpose of this work is to discuss the possibility of replacing the notion of "resistance" by that of "resilience" in the context of the affective turn (Ahmed, 2004 y Sedgwick, 2003), specifically regarding the role of the haptic dimension within the artistic representation (Paterson, 2007). Stemming from a key work by Lygia Clark, The body is the house: penetration, ovulation, germination (1968), we shall assess its strong questioning towards the classic notions of agency and towards the role frequently attributed to affects. On a second stage and -in such case- departing from the study of the exhibits by the former detained-disappeared Paula Luttringer: The wall’s cry (2004) and Unearthed things (2012), we introduce the possibility of revisiting the commonly called "resistance" in a way that makes it necessary to replace such idea by that of "resilience" if we want to be consistent with the conceptual framework presented herein.

Palabras clave : Subjectivity; Affects; Touch; Precariousness; Gender.
