This paper aims to address the participation of María Rosa Oliver in the world of letters. Even though she is already widely known for her foundational activity in the journal Sur, there are many other facets that research is discovering in her practice as a writer, as a translator, creating networks between intellectuals from different countries, and also as an intermediary between different groups oriented to cultural diffusion, women rights promotion, defense of people rights for peace and liberation.
