Abstract

FABBRONI, Mariela et al. Caracterización palinológica de cinco especies de Senna Mill. (Fabaceae) de los valles Calchaquíes, provincia de Salta, Argentina. Rev. Mus. Argent. Cienc. Nat. [online]. 2015, vol.17, n.2, pp.109-118. ISSN 1853-0400.

This contribution provides the pollen morphology of Senna aphylla (Cav.) Irwin & Barneby var. aphylla, S. aphylla var. pendula Robbiati & Fortunato, Senna birostris (Vog.-Zuber) Irwin & Barneby, Senna burkartiana (Villa) Irwin & Barneby, Senna crassiramea (Benth.) Irwin & Barneby and Senna rigidicaulis (Burkart ex L. Bravo) Irwin & Barneby growing in the dry intermontane Calchaquíes valleys, Salta province. The analysis and photomicrographs were performed using optical microscope and electron microscope. Grains are isopolar, radiosymmetric, small to medium sized, amb subtriangular to subcircular, anguloaperturate and tricolporate. The exine is tectate, imperforate to perforate with electronic microscope. According to the predominant shape of the grains and characteristic of ora could be separate in two groups although the genus is considerer stenopalynous.
