Abstract

TORRETTA, Juan Pablo  and  ROIG-ALSINA, Arturo. Las abejas colectoras de aceite del género Paratetrapedia (Hymenoptera, Apidae, Tapinotaspidini) en la Argentina. Rev. Mus. Argent. Cienc. Nat. [online]. 2017, vol.19, n.2, pp.131-140. ISSN 1853-0400.

A synopsis of the genus Paratetrapedia Moure in Argentina is presented. Six species are recorded: P. fervida (Smith), P. leucostoma (Cockerell), P. nigrispinis (Vachal), P. punctata Aguiar & Melo, P. pygmaea (Schrottky), and P. volatilis (Smith), of which P. leucostoma, P. punctata and P. pygmaea are new records for the country. An illustrated key to the species, new geographical records, and notes on floral hosts are presented.
