VALLEJO, Jesús. El cáliz de plata: Articulación de órdenes jurídicos en la jurisprudencia del ius commune. Rev. hist. derecho [online]. 2009, n.38. ISSN 1853-1784.

This article analyzes one of the main characeristics of ius commune as a historic legal culture: the pluralism of applicable legal rules, differing in origin and importance, and the relationships that could be established among them. The author's aim is to show the premises that allow a correct understanding of that historical problem: the concept of law, the meaning of making it, and who could legitimately do it.
