This research attempt is to show the relationship between the local justices and the Real Audiencia, through the study of the proceedings against the vagabonds in the Buenos Aires area, during the first ten years since the establishment of the Real Audiencia of Buenos Aires (1785-1795). For this, and taken as a theoretical framework the history of concepts, the archives -judicial files- are analyzed using the knowledge expressed in the discourses of that time to understand the conflicts generated in attention to the procedural order in which justices should act against vagrancy: a regular procedure or a simplified one.
