This work pretends to demonstrate the vision of Juan Egaña on the subjects of education, and religion as a tool for the same goal. We will study both concepts at the same time, having on sight the regalism of the author, for whom religion was an instrument of which the State must serve in order to achieve its educational mandate. There for we speak of enlightened regalism. At the same time, we will analyze the roots and fundaments of the educative obsession that the law philosopher demonstrates through all of his work.
