This article analyzes the creation and reorganization of the judiciary departments belonging to the province of Buenos Aires between 1881, when the first Organic Law of Judiciary Power (Law no. 1431) was passed, thus reorganizing the four judiciary departments: South, Central, North and Capital City , and 1915, when Law no. 3617 was passed, ordering the creation of the Southwest Judiciary Department. Also, there were some changes and continuities observed in the administrative structure of Criminal Courts in the Province of Buenos Aires .  For this purpose, we will work with various sources: Official Records of the Laws of the Province of Buenos Aires; the daily sessions of the House of Deputies and Provincial Senators; the Notes of the Population Census carried out in 1895 and 1914; and Book of Fees of Judiciary Power.
