Thispaper explores the conflict between the executive and judicial powers that beganin 1927, and its consequences on the Chilean institutional structure, projected during the following decades. Thus, it affirms that that episode defined the relationship between judiciary and Executive power under the Presidencialist Republic started in 1925.
