The subject is the contribution of Juan Baltasar Maziel (1727-1778) to the teaching of Philosophy, Theology and Law in the Colegio de San Carlos of Buenos Aires, in the last third of the XVIIIth Century. In addition, other political ideas of Maziel are considered.
