Analysis on the role of the media during the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly in Latin America. It is proposed to describe the factors that build panic and misinformation that in turn affected the management of the pandemic by national governments. The premise of the text is to delve into the role of the media as critics and whose exercise of questioning reaches the point of generating disbelief on the part of the population and how this affects the implementation of public policies in health matters.
