The present work make a reflextion on the treatment they received religious spaces in the interior Latin American Colonial - XVI to XVIII centuries -. We report the identification, selection, comparison and analysis of different aspects that constitute the specific Colonial America. The analysis takes into account not only architectural and morphological features, but also social and historical icons, which allow a more complete picture of the solutions used in the interior design of these spaces.
