The intention of this work is to show the Science Fiction story like an expressive cultural result, that can be useful as a generator of futurist technological concepts that could be taken to design projects. By means of the compositional and semiotics analysis of the abstracted images of the film I Robot (Proyas, 2004), in which a dialectic connotation between to be a human being and a robot is demonstrated, would be determined qualitatively how Science Fiction affects the cultural imaginary and its perception in front of technological advances.
