Abstract

This investigation tries to set out how industrial design takes part through the project process in the design of playful-didactic objects for children, pointing out different concepts given by other fields from knowledge (evolutionary psychology, mental psychology, learning, playful, didactic, semiotics). Considering design like a discipline or a synthetic axis in the configuration that obliquely materializes and organizes these concepts in a whole: the object; one looks for to establish the existing criteria and relations to project a playful-didactic object. These criteria would optimize the attainment of objectives of planned learning and development, as soon as the object configuration is handled in the conjunction of different integrated factors through the object configuration.
