Abstract

CANIZA, Fernando. Lo público y lo privado en las Relaciones Públicas: Cómo pensar la identidad y pertenencia del alumno en estos ámbitos para comprender mejor su desempeño académico y su inserción profesional. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseño Comun., Ens. [online]. 2012, n.40, pp.21-31. ISSN 1853-3523.

In this article the author exposes that the academic scope in which the student develops his career has a strong influence in its formation and, therefore, in the election of subjects for its Degree Project, which defines its future professional field. Also it is considered that his belonging to a specific social imaginary drives the student to limit his decisions to this field without considering other options. In spite of the profits of the formation in the private university, two axes are detected that would have to be fortified: the lack of approach to other speeches that approach problematic policies, social or economic, from a global difficulty and point of view, to analyze these questions from a sphere that involves social issues; for example, from the boarding of inherent questions to the operation of public institutions and their functions of government. This difficulty could be modified without structural changes, leaving the profile that characterizes to the private university.

Keywords : Degree projects; Global policies; Government; Private activity; Professional practice; Social imaginary; Society; University; University formation.
