This paper shows through the case of the argentine designer Deby Szmuch, a way of understanding fashion from the "individualized couture." Personal identity is the axe from which to make clothing. The tipycal argentine way of dressing mix the stories of immigrants, their own stories and artistic inspiration in a complex network between biography and design.
