This article explores the implications and tensions experienced by a community theater group upon intervention of public cultural policies promoting social transformation from art and forms of community organization. This paper analyses the intervention processes on Chacras para Todos community group, in the province of Mendoza (Argentina), through extension projects directed to neighborhoods not initially reached by the group. We studied the relationship between the group and the programs financing this projects and the institutional implication effect on the group during the period 2013-2016. The analysis reflects how the design of public policies and their interventions can permeate the capillarity of organizations and guide their projects.
