Resumen
FLEITAS, Andrea y GOMEZ, Sandra. An introduction to the problems of cartographic literacy when teaching geography at schools: The reading and writing of maps from ICT/KLT. Estudios Socioterritoriales [online]. 2012, vol.11. ISSN 1853-4392.
This paper examines the problems of teaching geographyat schools, specifically those related to the cartographic literacy from ICT/KLT in the classroom of upper secondary education in Tandil. The map is a basic tool for learning geography and, paradoxically, it becomes when teaching. It is just used to locate places overlooking the fact that from the innovative sequences resulting from the use of ICT/KLT, a broader view can be built in the students on their countless working opportunities, as a means of communication that will provide them with meanings and an intellectual autonomy for the construction of an active and engaged citizenry. The intention is to discuss the issues derived from the field work carried out through the formulation of surveys to geography teachers.
