Abstract

This work shows the space analysis of on official educational outfitting in the city of Montería as a contribution of knowledgement to the thematic of geographical attainability by the population towards the educational system. The space inequalities and its territorial distribution show the necessity of attempting an optimal redistribution of the outfitting with the purpose of enhancing efficence and the equity of the service. During this study, official educational outfittings in Montería have been identified and the links in existence among them. It has also been analyzed the space distribution and determined the educational proposal and demand of the service. This paper uses the information information offered by the Secretary of Education municipal 2008-2009 and presents a thematica cartography made during this study based on the systems of geographical information (SIG).
