The purpose of the following reflections is the of illustrate about the notion of agricultural frontier and discuss its application to the case of the expansion of the "business" agriculture, linked to agro-food and agro-industrial linkages in areas perfifericos, such as the Argentine Northeast provinces. This has to rethink the idea of border, then set it in the specific case of analysis, characterize both "sides" of the same, place them and explain the reasons for its spatial expression, actors and practices involved and the consequences of these interactions.
