This article describes and analyzes the construction of territoriality/ies as from police practice in Rosario city. We consider how territorial dimension goes through and organizes different aspects of police practice. Our hypothesis is that police practices are a kind of territoriality construction and therefore a power dimension. From an ethnographic approach we delve into two different fields of the police practice: police stations and patrolling of Radio Patrol Car and we anlyze the classification criteria of three areas -downtown, neighbourhood and slum- and of those who inhabit them, as well as the police officers' assesments. This will allow us to show how the agents and of the Police institution display different territoriality constructions in various areas - jurisdictions - of the city.
