Resumen
SCHERE, María Jimena. El par cómico de Estrepsíades y Sócrates en la comedia Nubes de Aristófanes. Argos [online]. 2009, vol.32, n.2, pp.203-218. ISSN 1853-6379.
The existence of comic pairs can go back to the Homeric tradition, to the pair of the fool and the crafty one represented by Odysseus and the Cyclops. The topic suffers modifications in the fable and in the iambic poetry, that will be taken up again by Aristophanes. This work analyzes the particular way in which he adopts the traditional model. Clouds, although it retains his roots in the model, produces a significant transformation of the topic: Aristophanes reverses the focus of the mockery and takes as privileged target no longer the character of the fool, but the crafty Socrates.
