LLANOS, Pablo Martín. El adulterio de Marte y Venus en Metamorfosis de Ovidio: relato, narradoras y auditorio internos. Argos [online]. 2011, vol.34, n.2, pp.36-58. ISSN 1853-6379.
The adultery of Mars and Venus appears in Metamorphoses in one of the accounts of the Minyeides, profaners of the Bacchic rites. The presentation of this fable as internal narrative brings into play a network of intertextual relations with the hypotext of the Odyssey, where the adultery of Ares and Aphrodite is told by a internal narrator. This paper attempts to articulate these relationships, as well as the functions and meanings of the stories of the Minyeides in the Metamorphoses, trying to clarify how they bring into play the importance of storytelling in the opposition between male and female figures.
