This article intends to discuss with those interpretations that Catholic religious dogmatism identified with the upper classes in Argentina today. This draws on statistical information from the first systematic study has been made about the area, "Religion, Culture and Society" (CEIL-PIETTE-CONICET). His ultimate intention is to contribute to a broader discussion on the features of the field of power in Argentina.
