CANDIA, Lucas Fernando de y GEUNA, Jésica Daiana. Schools and COVID-19: bibliographic review on the relationship between school and pandemic control. Rev. argent. salud pública [online]. 2021, vol.13, suppl.1, pp.20-20. ISSN 1852-8724.
From the emergence of the new SARS-CoV-2 virus, a global impact pandemic developed with significant mortality. Infection was reported in children, but with a higher frequency of mild / asymptomatic symptoms and lower chances of hospitalizations and deaths. To confront the pandemic, governments implement non-pharmacological interventions that have been shown to be effective in curbing the transmission of the virus. Among them, the closure of face-to-face schools was one of the most controversial. A review of scientific publications on the subject is proposed in the present work.
