This article analyses the export promotion policies developed by the Wide Progressive, Civic and Social Front government during the 2008-2011 period. To carry out this study it was necessary to create an own database, considering the beneficiary companies as the main subject of this research. A descriptive review was made from this information, considering regional nodes, production systems, level of involvement in the events, level of internationalization reached. The results of these policies are limited and there is a considerable range of action to consider in the future. This situation shows the need for a maturation process in the export promotion policies if they pretend to provide an effective response to the demands of the business complex reality.
