NOBREGA DUARTE, Emeide  e  BEZERRA PAIVA, Eliane. Identification of information needs of users from the perspective of management. Palabra clave [online]. 2017, vol.7, n.1, pp.00-00. ISSN 1853-9912.

The present paper discusses the adoption identifiers of information needs of users as a stage of information management. The interdisciplinarity between the areas of Administration and Information Science occurs in an effective and wide manner, once many concepts, principles and methodologies used by both areas are merged in a link of integrative type with information management. From that, it can be deduced that information is a common element for the construction of this interdisciplinary corpus, as well as it is a product amenable of management. The paper is characterized as an exploratory study with qualitative approach, of bibliographic type. The analysis developed in the theoretical basis enables to ponder that the identification of information needs is adopted not only in management, but also in the approaches about user studies. It is concluded that it is indispensable the adoption of guiding procedures for the identification of the information needs of the individuals who compose the corporate environment as a necessary way to reach the organizational objectives
