This paper presents a bibliographical review and of national and international standars about the technological risk management. The technological development has brought as consequence the substantial increase of the risks, principally in connection with information access's problems, in face of the possibility of loss or distortion of the same one. This contribution aims to the specific area of libraries, centers of information or documentation. There were located and analyzed policies applied in libraries of the national area. By last, some considerations about technological risk management in relation with library's ambit are delineated
