In this article we attempt to describe the peculiarities of school life in the intersection of neighborhood everyday life, that among others during the last decades have resulted in traumatic processes of impoverishment of the population and which have involved the continued growth of the slums where can be recognized three generations living there. As we discuss through empirical work, schools and neighborhoods life go through very similar paths. Some sort of weakening of institutional and neighborhood life, characterizes an everyday life where details are added and everything is subsumed to individual wills in the logic of self-management project that become fatigue. Through the notion of pedagogical apparatuses we offer tools to understand some of the logic that present contemporary policies of schooling: the politics experience of schooling, that became heterogeneous, diffuse, contradictory and overlapping forms that are assembled in the life of institutions.
