Resumen

This article aims to continue with the description and analysis of practices, relationships and social processes that take place in everyday schooling spaces called “Bachilleratos Populares de Jóvenes y Adultos” (popular high-schools for young people and adults) from an ethnographic approach. Focusing on one of these experiences in Buenos Aires City, in several meetings teachers / militants pointed out on the difficulty of working with the new subjects that are coming to the “bachillerato”, referred to as “teenagers”. These difficulties bring out the discussion on the relation between the “political pedagogical project” of these high schools and the new advent. First of all, I describe a series of classes where students carry out certain practices which are often criticized by teachers / militants as they do not match with those ideally expected. Afterwards, I present aspects of the students’ social and educational trajectories considering their own accounts. Finally, I focus on teachers / militants meetings in which they discuss about the subjects they work with and the subjects they want them to be.
