Resumo

ARAGAY TUSELL, Xavier. Tendencias internacionales emergentes para la transformación de la educación: aportes y reflexiones. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2017, n.48, pp.28-33. ISSN 1995-7785.

Based on the experience and the observations made in different countries, the author identifies nine emerging trends in the initiatives of change and educational transformation that have been carried out worldwide. He evaluates the impact the changes made in the teaching and learning process have on students and presents one of the few experiences made and published in this regard. Subsequently, he focuses on the five fundamental conditions that, in his opinion, have to concur in schools so that the transformations become possible and not limited to mere spring buds. The article highlights the importance of people relationships within a center. In addition, it demonstrates the need to see change as an integral process over time. Finally, the author reflects on educational innovation and social inclusion. He declares all actors within the educational community essential in the much needed educational change.
