First women to obtain a PhD in Literature, First Chair of Liceo de Señoritas, author a number of books for children and co-founder of many social organizations associated with the Socialist Party that boosted Women Rights and even the Vote for Women, Ernestina is a rather unknown figure. This article is the result of an on-going non-profit research that aims to introduce her contributions to a larger public.
