In the presently work we made a historical analysis on the teaching of the science and the technology in the primary and secondary levels of the Argentinean Educational System, from 1880 until the present. The study is centered in the books historically used in the Argentinean school for Physics, Chemistry, Cosmography, Biology, manuals of Natural Sciences, and manuals for teachers and professors of the mentioned subjects. It is divided in three sections: a) the historical evolution of the didactic proposals of the texts, b) the epistemological postures and c) the teaching of the technology in the secondary school. Conclusions are obtained about questions as the degree of actualization of the contents, the adaptation of the mathematical level, the influence of the positivism and the limitations in the teaching of the technology.
