This work presents the results of a research developed by a physics and education specialist team, with the aim of registry and analyzes the first attempts in academic formation of professionals in Physics in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, between 1906 and 1930. It is founded in documental databases, interpreted from a social, political and epistemological contextual frame, focusing on the relations between teaching and research. The period is analyzed by dividing it in four stages, identified with the performance and style of the first four Directors. As a conclusion, a difference is observed between the periods in which German researchers and those corresponding to native directors. The institutionalization process in the Physics formation required a long adaptation period of the disciplines pioneer practices, activities and discourses.
