Abstract

BOCCHINO, Adriana. La persistencia de la variación: Sobre Cuentos completos1 de Antonio Di Benedetto. CELEHIS [online]. 2014, n.28, pp.31-48. ISSN 2313-9463.

Faced with the accounts of Antonio Di Benedetto (1922-1986), collected in Cuentos Completos (2007), tested a reflection on how broadly. From the presentation made by the author for a German publisher and two "information" that works for prefacing his stories in 1986, the work expands the idea of form based on the idea offigure (geometric/ literary/ logical/ linguistic). In this sense, Di Benedetto is placed in the tradition of Argentine writers who make theory and / or philosophical meditation in his fiction. The case allows truly extreme light literature, but unrecognized until late. Given its location outside the intellectual and controversial areas, the author develops a poetics of displacement, exile, the eccentric, the meaninglessness, nothingness, through the form above explicit content. From a Geometry in metaphorical terms have crossed philosophy, from the ancient Pythagorean proposals to the newest non-Euclidean geometries. Work stops always explicit in their desire for filmmaking (1968), to think about the constancy and growing complexity of your writing project.

Keywords : Di Benedetto - story - way - exile - eccentricity.
