Martin Fierro promotes a new aesthetic sensibility that encourages the artistic experimentation in diverse creative systems (including poetry and painting). Also, it grants centrality of topics of the identity and national language. In this paper we analize Xul Solar's work (pictorial, criticism and linguistic) as a Martin Fierro's new asthetic exponent. However, we put him in a different place that Martin Fierro occupies, because he develop an utopian dimension guided by the American unity. We sustain that this produces an integration of painting and writing.
