This paper speaks about the theft of children during the Franco's dictatorship. Following the Ricard Vinyes works and the emergence of the Spanish memory boom, we approach to the modes of the expropriation, laws that supported the loss of identity of more than 40.000 children, and organisms of the regime that supported a plan of segregation intended to the ideological extermination of the Republicans. The analysis begins with the Argentinean case of appropriation of children with the objective of study the Spanish expropriation.
