This paper analyses the problematic agricultural of a north peripheral province Argentinian, from the productive crisis of ends of the 90, the expansion of the soya and the revival of the cotton. The article examines the group of factors that conditioned the recent evolution of the productive group, putting special attention in the problematic of the most vulnerable agents, for afterwards expose the public initiatives for the reorganisation and development of the sector, with particular detail in the case of the productive consortiums. The type of investigation is empirical-qualitative; with a methodological strategy suport in interviews structured and secondary information (statistical and documentary).
