The study makes an approach to the Decent Work concept and characterizes its deficit in the Urban Agglomerates of Gran Paraná and Concordia (Entre Ríos Province) from the lecture of an indicator: Unregistered Work. The investigation covers the 2004-2010 period, and reprocesses data from the Permanent Household Survey. Incidence factors, endogenous and exogenous, from the labor market together with decent work promotion policies to combat informal employment are mentioned in accordance with different economic scenarios of growth and crisis occurred in Argentina. The same trend as at the national level is registered in both agglomerates by the selected indicator. The resulting values are above or below but close to the 40 % national average of unregistered work. The cohesion existing between global markets implies a connection in the dynamics of labor indicators in the labor market at national, regional and local levels.
