In contexts of global change to continue talking about spatial boundaries, at least from a geographic point of view, is debatable. Organizational forms recreate, coexist and resist the presence of novel events. In this dynamic the «urban-rural» scenarios begin to bond according to its functionalities, so voices as neorruralism, globalized rurality or pluriactive spaces appear and realize it but they are still approached from a dualistic perspective. As stated, a review of the various theoretical constructs that conceptualized the rural-urban space ratio at different historical moments will be carried on and from there begin to prove categories able to raise a concrete discussion, overlay variables and achieve a dynamic notion of these spaces regarding the empirization of the events that surround it.
