The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the most popular magazine of the argentinian traditionalism and the Peronist Governement. In particular, it aimes to investigate the motivations that led to the publication to break away from its historical apolitical" position and show a virulent and systematic condemnation of Peronism. In a context of official promotion of creolism that, a priori, seemed communing with the permanent interests of Nativa, a strongly opposition visible from September 1955, was conceived. The affiliation of Peronwith the national tradition was contested by publishers who cheered the coup and celebrated the recovery of the Republic.
