Perón's first government made possible the entrance of a large number of women in politics based on specific legal instruments and party inclusion policies. At the same time, it installed in the Argentine political culture a novel practice: the marriage in government and the politicization of the first ladies. This paper analyzes the political role of the wives of the governors of Buenos Aires and San Juan. Both cases are different, but they share similarities that invite to think if there was a stimulus to collaborate, also, as delegates of Eva Perón.
