Resumen

This research aims to identify and compare the different learning styles (Active, Reflexive, Theorical and Pragmatic) in students of the academic program in sports training at the CENDA University Corporation in Bogotá DC, using the questionnaire "CHAEA". The results obtained were subjected of univariate and bivariate statistical analysis. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests were applied, where only the active style reflected a normal distribution (p> 0.05); to analyze the differences in means, the Student T and U Mann-Whitney tests were used. To analyze if there were differences between the groups, the one-factor ANOVA (non-parametric) and Kruskal-Wallis parametric tests were used, and Spearman correlation too. The results show that the Reflective and Theoretical styles prevail in the initial and intermediate semesters, and the reflexive whereas there is higher tendency of the theoretical and pragmatic styles in the final semesters, reflecting that the students are more likely to be quite analytical, receptive and exhaustive in their explanations, tending to rationality and objectivity, which shows an inclination to methodical styles.
